Tim grew up throughout Northeast Ohio and East Texas. He attended Otterbein College and recieved a BS in Elementary Education. He did his student teaching at the McCurdy Mission School, a United Methodist Mission School in Espanola, NM. During his time at Otterbein he preached throughout the Mt. Vernon District in United Methodist Churches, and then became Director of Christian Education at The Church in Aurora, (Aurora, OH). From there he recieved his call to ministry and attended Boston University's School of Theology where he recieved a Master of Divinity specialized in Small Group Ministries. While at BU he interned at the Wilmington UMC (Wilmington, MA), and Park Street Church. (Boston, MA) Graduating from BU, he was appointed to Cuyahoga Falls First UMC (Ohio) in 2002, as the Associate for Youth Discipleship Ministries. In 2004 he was appointed to the United Methodist Church of Berea as the Associate Pastor for Youth and College Ministries. In 2009 he was appointed as the Pastor of the Spencer Church. In 2011 Pastor Tim received his doctorate in Campus Ministries from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. 

Tim is married to Rev. Lisa Z. Morrison who is the Spiritual Care Coordinator for Hospice of Medina County. She graduated from both Providence College (BS - Youth Ministry) and Boston University (M.Div - Pastoral Care). She is a certified candidate for ministry in the United Methodist Church. She is also a certified yoga insructor. They have three children, Becca, Sarah, Zach and reside in Spencer.
